Privacy Policy

Overview
Gantry is a Docker container management app built and distributed by Shy Guy Studio. This policy explains what data Gantry collects, stores, and transmits — and what it does not.
The short version: Gantry does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Data We Do Not Collect
- —No analytics or usage tracking
- —No crash reporting sent to third parties
- —No advertising identifiers
- —No account registration or login
- —No data shared with third parties
Data Stored on Your Device
Gantry stores the following data locally using iOS-managed storage (SwiftData and Keychain). Docker host configurations are optionally synced to your private iCloud account using CloudKit so they are available across your devices.
- —Docker host names, addresses, and port numbers
- —TLS settings and API version information per host
- —Last connection timestamps
No container data, log output, command history, or terminal output is persisted after you leave the app. These exist only in memory during your session.
iCloud Sync
If you are signed into iCloud, Gantry syncs your Docker host list to your private iCloud CloudKit database. This data is associated with your Apple ID and governed by Apple's iCloud privacy policy. Shy Guy Studio has no access to this data.
If you are not signed into iCloud, all data remains local to your device.
Network Access
Gantry makes network requests exclusively to the Docker hosts you configure. These requests go directly from your device to your Docker daemon — no traffic is proxied through Shy Guy Studio servers. Gantry supports both HTTP and HTTPS connections depending on how your Docker host is configured.
No data from these requests (container lists, logs, command output) is ever sent to Shy Guy Studio or any third party.
Children's Privacy
Gantry is a developer tool not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect any information from children. As Gantry collects no personal data from any user, no special handling applies.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated and a note will be posted on shyguy.studio.
