Privacy Policy

Overview

Shy Guy LLC builds iOS apps. We believe privacy is a right, not a feature. Our apps are designed to work without collecting your personal data.

What We Don't Do

  • We do not sell your data. Ever. To anyone.
  • We do not use advertising SDKs or ad networks.
  • We do not use analytics or tracking pixels in our apps.
  • We do not use crash reporting services (no Crashlytics, no Sentry).
  • We do not require accounts or logins for any of our apps.
  • We do not transmit personal data to our servers or any third party.
  • We do not fingerprint devices or create user profiles.

What Our Apps Store

All data created in our apps (watch items, API requests, scan results, documents, settings) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.

Network Requests

Some apps make network requests to function:

  • NetOps / LEO — Connect directly to hosts you configure (your servers, not ours). Credentials stored in iOS Keychain with device-only protection.
  • Gantry — Connects to Docker hosts you configure. No data passes through our servers.
  • Vigilant — Checks SSL certificate expiry and RDAP domain data directly from the target host. Optional Telegram notifications if you configure them.
  • Tapir — Sends HTTP requests to endpoints you specify. No proxy, no logging.
  • Scrip x402 — Connects to Privy for wallet services and our x402 worker for payment processing. USDC transactions are on-chain.
  • Prysm — Fetches web pages to scan for trackers. No data about your scans is transmitted to us.
  • Hex — Fully offline. Zero network requests.

In-App Purchases

Some apps use Apple's StoreKit 2 for one-time purchases. Apple processes these transactions. We do not receive your payment information — only a receipt confirming the purchase.

Website (shyguy.studio)

Our website uses Vercel Analytics for anonymous page view counts. No cookies are set. No personal data is collected. The newsletter signup uses Resend — your email is stored in our Resend audience and used solely for product announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
