Overview
Hex is a developer multi-tool for iOS built and distributed by Shy Guy LLC. This policy explains what data Hex collects, stores, and transmits — and what it does not.
The short version: Hex does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything stays on your device. Hex works entirely offline.
Data We Do Not Collect
- —No analytics or usage tracking
- —No crash reporting sent to third parties
- —No advertising identifiers
- —No account registration or login
- —No data shared with third parties
- —No network requests of any kind
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
Hex stores only your recently used tools list using iOS-managed storage (SwiftData). This data never leaves your device.

All text you enter into Hex tools (JSON, Base64, passwords, etc.) is processed entirely on-device and is never stored persistently or transmitted anywhere.
Network Access
Hex makes zero network requests. The app works entirely offline. No data is ever sent to Shy Guy LLC servers or any third party.
Children's Privacy
Hex is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children. As Hex collects no personal data from any user, no special handling applies.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated and a note will be posted on shyguy.studio.
